The Tough Market Has Taught Me…
Solomon once said (and I greatly paraphrase) that there are lessons to be learned in times of adversity that cannot be learned in times of prosperity. It was Oliver Wendell Holmes who once said, “If I had a formula for bypassing trouble I would not pass it around. Trouble creates a capacity to handle it.”
The fact is that we are – or, we should be – better people for our hardships. The trials shape and mold us into who we are, if we are willing to embrace the struggle as an opportunity.
