Look at Your Desk

Always keep this axiom in mind: “Clutter clutters the mind.” That’s true for us, but it is also true for our customers. Clutter has a way of taking up unnecessary space in the customer’s brain. They end up trying to sort through the mess in order to find what they are looking for. That is why great retailers are minimalists in regards to their point-of-purchase displays.

Look at your desk, your topo table, your sales office. What needs to go? What information can you hold back until it is requested? What gets in the way?

Voltaire said it best: “Simplify. Simplify.”
