Are Your Goals On Target For Profit AND Fun?

It’s coming to that point of the year when we talk about goal setting, and appropriately so.

The turn of the calendar brings hope and promise of a more successful year to come.

Nothing wrong with that.

But let me offer a different perspective on goal setting than you might be used to, and it has to do with how you feel about the very goals you establish.

It’s a simple but important test: Do your goals sound like fun?

Here’s the problem: if your goals sound like a total drag (“Get organized”; “Lose 10 pounds”; “Clean the garage”; etc.) you’re probably not all that enthusiastic.

That’s a concern, because it makes it so much harder both to begin and to sustain in that journey.

Conversely, the joy in establishing fun goals provides motivation to get started and to keep going.

As you plan out your best year ever, write your goals from a fun-filled perspective.

Choose and plan for goals that really get you exhilarated, like you can’t wait to accomplish those objectives.

Raise the fun, and you’ll raise your success!
