Blame Gives Away Control
Blame feels powerful in the moment.
It gives you somewhere to point the finger. Someone to make responsible. A reason it wasn’t your fault.
Blame is often the ego’s armor, designed to protect us from shame, vulnerability, and fear.
The minute you hand responsibility to someone else, you hand them control. You also rob yourself of the lesson.
Some of the strongest lessons you’ll ever learn will come from mistakes, failures, and things that went sideways.
But only if you’re willing to ask:
What’s mine to own?
What can I learn?
How do I grow from here?
Accountability isn’t punishment. It’s how you take your power back.
So ask the better question: What can I own, and how do I grow from here?
