About Doug:

Doug Bauer serves as the Chief Executive Officer of TRI Pointe Homes. With a rich background in the home building industry, Doug’s leadership and expertise have been instrumental in shaping the company’s success. Prior to forming TRI Pointe Homes, Doug held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer at William Lyon Homes.

He is actively involved in both legislative efforts and community enhancement programs through the California Building Industry Association and HomeAid Orange County, a charitable organization that builds shelters for the temporarily homeless.

When he’s not working on Tri Pointe, Doug likes to work on bettering his triathlon times for both exercise and pleasure.
