In the rare moments that he is not working at his stand-up desk or taking meetings on his phone, you can find him babying his 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser or in his backyard smoking pork butts and brisket with his amazing wife and his music-loving teenage son in Austin, TX.

Carey Naab

Strategic Partnership Manager

With over a decade of experience in partner relations and sponsorship sales, she has a proven track record of creating meaningful connections and ensuring that every client has an exceptional event experience. Carey joins the Shore team from DigitalMarketer where she managed sponsor relations and sales for the Traffic & Conversion Summit. Her passion for building relationships and delivering outstanding sponsor experiences makes her a fantastic addition to our team. Carey is a proud alumna of Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas (Go Bods!) and currently lives in Round Rock, Texas. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her enjoying Sunday dinners with her family or spending time on Lake Travis, where she loves to go boating on the weekends.

Kevin Shore

Director of Marketing

Kevin is in charge of spreading the word at Shore Consulting. Whenever we've got a new event, book, or sales training program he'll make sure you're in the loop. Oh, and if you spot a typo in any of our emails, that’s his fault. You might find Kevin on the beach near his home in Vista, eating a taco or reading a book -- often times all at once. Jeff’s granddaughters, Ellie, Jacqueline, and Lauren, keep him a little busy, too!

Kendra McAbee

Kendra joins us with 9 years of experience as a classroom teacher where she excelled in building relationships and creating positive learning experiences. At Shore, she will use her detailed and organized skillset to manage administrative and operational tasks to create a wonderful client experience.
She has a passion for learning, helping others succeed, and making people smile. Outside of work, Kendra enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, family vacations, reading, listening to true crime podcasts, and buying the latest pair of sneakers.

Outside of work, you can find Jessica chasing sunshine, belly laughing with friends and family, or planning her new travel adventure.

With 15 years of experience as a classroom teacher, Summer brings a unique blend of patience, communication, and problem-solving skills to her role at Shore Consulting. After transitioning from education to the world of homebuilding several years ago, she discovered a true love for the industry and for collaborating with builder teams to ensure client success. She is passionate about helping others achieve their goals, finding joy in every situation, and creating moments of “magic” for clients and colleagues alike. Outside of work, Summer enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan, their two children, and two very spoiled cats in her hometown of Greenville, SC. She loves baking, finding all the great foodie spots, and traveling with her husband every chance they get.

Laura Smith

Director of Content Development

An accomplished learning and development professional, Laura manages the development of all our clients’ program deliverables and Jeff’s book writing ventures. She’s also always working in the background to manage our (many, many!) internal projects as we design new sales training content. Working from her office in Paso Robles - the heart of Central Coast California wine country - she enjoys wine tasting (obviously!), traveling, live music, and amazing food.
